What we are. US Grid Relief is the trade name of Foglia Investments, a San Diego County marketing and consultation company. We are not a utility, we are not a government agency or program, and we are not affiliated with SDG&E, the California Public Utilities Commission, or any state or federal agency. We do not install solar ourselves. When a homeowner wants to move forward, we introduce them to a licensed California installer.

How it works

  1. You send us your numbers. Your monthly electric bill, your address, and how much sun your roof gets. It takes about a minute.
  2. We call you and walk through it. What you are paying under your current rate plan, what solar and a battery would change, and what they cost. No obligation and no pressure to decide on the call.
  3. If you want to move forward, we make the introduction. A licensed installer handles the design, the permits, and the work. You sign with them, not with us.

Why San Diego homeowners ask about batteries

SDG&E prices residential electricity highest between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., which is when most households are home and using the most power. That is also the window when rooftop panels are producing the least. A battery lets a home use its own daytime production during those hours instead of buying at the peak price.

Whether that math works at your house depends on your usage, your rate plan, your roof, and what you would pay for the system. That is what the call is for.
